PLEASE TELEPHONE about any hazardous conditions observed on county roadways.

Wasco County Public Works Department is committed to provide 24-hour 7-day-per-week hazardous condition response involving County roads. Hazardous Conditions are defined as obstructions to traffic flow or hazards to people in roadways.

To Report A Hazardous Road Condition:
Any time (24 - 7): Call (541) 506-2640, our automated service will direct you to Dispatch. You may also call 911.

Examples of Hazardous Conditions:
Stop sign down or missing
Tree on roadway obstructing traffic
Debris or material on roadway obstructing traffic flow
Standing water obstructing traffic flow
Dead deer obstructing traffic flow
Pot hole or sink hole imposing significant traffic hazard

Your name Your address, including City, State and Zip Code
Your telephone number (where you can be contacted)
Detailed description of the condition; including road name, nearest cross street and/or address. It is important that you include a contact number in the event more information is needed.

Examples of non-hazardous conditions are:
Pot holes in road
Road signs down or missing (STOP signs should be reported as a hazardous condition)
Eroded shoulders
Sight obstruction
